It seems like I am always getting search requests for horse properties.I bought a home on 2.3 acres, we can have horse or whatever on them. It is nice because we live out in the country.
I use to own a 10 acre property in Roberts Idaho. We were able to raise whatever we wanted and no one really cared what we did.
If you are going to look for horse properties, the majority of them are in Jefferson County which is the Rigby Idaho area.
Bonneville and surrounding areas have them, but not as much as Jefferson.
When you add land to the home, the price seems to be high.
I get requests like I want a 10 acre piece of property with a home on it, and I only want to pay $175,000. Wouldn't that be cool if that cheap of property existed?
Occasionally you can find one with that much land, but it is usually in the $200,000 plus range.
Horse properties cost more, but people who live in the country and who are use to the country life don't care.
If you want me to send you all the horse properties on the market, email me at burkebennett@hotmail.com. Tell me how much acreage you would like and the price range you are in.
One word of caution. Jefferson county has lots of 1 acre subdivisions that won't let you put horses on. You almost need to request at least 1.5 acres and then I will see how many properties match up with your criteria.
I have sold many horse properties in the last few years. I look forward to working with you.
Thanks Burke Bennett
